It is an uncertain time in the world at the moment, but there are steps we can take to ensure your wedding follows a Covid safety plan.
What a time to be alive, who would have thought our lives would be tip turned upside down in such a swift manner.
We all know by now, as the saying goes "We are all in this together."
In Victoria, we have had a particularly rough time with Covid. Our restrictions have been the toughest in the world and weddings have been hit hard.
There are many ways in which we can have a Covid safe wedding and I am committed to making sure my level of service complies with all of the new regulations.
How to have a Covid safe wedding:
DHHS offers a comprehensive list of where we are currently at with restrictions: https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/coronavirus
I have completed a comprehensive Covid safe plan. I will make this available to your venue, so we can work together,
I also can provide you and your witnesses with a letter, so they can travel outside of their 5 KM zone to the location of the wedding.
I will give you a document to complete for contact tracing purposes. This will allow me to pass on any information that may be needed for contact tracing. These details will be held for 38 days, then destroyed in accordance with the privacy act.
I have two microphones that I will use for your wedding. One for myself, and the other for the couple. Each microphone is sterilised prior to your wedding and at the end of the service.
I will have sanitiser and antibacterial wipes available for guests.
Face Masks are not compulsory for the couple or the celebrant during the service. However, I will ensure I wear my face mask at the commencement of the setup and pack down. Guests are currently required to wear face masks.
As your celebrant I will work with your venue to discuss our Covid safe plan for each wedding.
All guests and bridal party are asked to maintain a distance of 1.5 metres between each person. I know you may be worried about what your photos will look like; however, we have to do the right thing to protect everyone.
We can do this and we can ensure your wedding is safe.
Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns?
